We remember Schneider School

Mrs. Sam Schneider unveils the portrait of her late husband at Schneider School February 13, 1968. Schneider served as principal of Shandon School, 1917-1936. The school was renamed in his honor after his death in 1936.
Editor's note: The Schneider School on the corner of Maple and Devine Streets we remember will soon become Grandevine, a condominium complex with a pool. In this issue on this page and pages 14 and 15 we bring memories of that time back to you. On page 6, we have brought you news of Grandevine.
