The Columbia Sertoma Club recently concluded its annual fundraising campaign on behalf of the Carolina Children's Home, raising more than $64,000 this year. Campaign Chairman Todd Lewis presented the check to the home's executive director, Alise Daniel, during a recent Sertoma meeting.

Lewis, who currently serves as The Columbia Sertoma Club's president, said the club was "proud and honored" to continue its longtime support of the Home. Since 1968, the Columbia Sertoma Club has raised more than $3.2 million for the Home.

Carolina Children's Home is an accredited residential treatment facility dedicated to the care and needs of children who have been the victims of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The home will use these funds to pay for administrative costs, food, utility bills, and staff salaries.

The Columbia Sertoma Club was founded in 1950 and sponsors numerous charities in the Midlands and throughout South Carolina. The club regularly meets on Mondays, beginning at 12:30, at Seawell's on Rosewood Drive. Visit www.columbiasertoma.org to learn more about The Columbia Sertoma Club.
