Trenholm Little League Juniors win state championship

The Trenholm Park Little League (Juniors) team (13 & 14 yr. olds) won the state championship, Monday, July 31, 2006, by defeating other district champs from around the state.

The final game featured Trenholm Park vs. Goose Creek. Trenholm won by a score of 6-3.

As State Champions, the Trenholm team now advances to the Southern Regional Tournament which will be played August 5-10 in Cartersville, Ga. There, they will face teams representing Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, West Virginia, Florida, and Tennessee.
