A.C. Flora quarterback Sims Tompkins is pursued by Eau Claire's Carl Shaw.

The C.A. Johnson Preparatory Academy AFJROTC Color Guard presented the flags at Memorial Stadium to a crowd sweltering in 95 degree weather Saturday, August 19, 2006. The Keenan Raider Rubber Band, under the direction of Maestro Willie Lyles, played the National Anthem...and the 47th Annual Sportsarama was underway.

In the first game, Keenan outscored C.A. Johnson 22-0 with excellent play from running back and linebacker Charles Brice. Lower Richland, under new coach J.W. Montgomery, gave Fairfield Central a good fight but lost 14-6. Eau Claire upset a flat A.C. Flora 6-0 on a Hail Mary pass from Hassan Brown to Angelo Canty.

In the final game, Dreher leapt ahead of Orangeburg-Wilkinson 10-0 with the running of Nicholas Bethea and Alex Ramos and the kicking of Kurt Stoudenmire. O-W stormed back to win 12-10.

Jordan Hasty of Orangeburg-Wilkinson was crowned Miss Sportsarama. Larry Johnson of Fairfield Central was named Mr. Sportsarama.
