Scout leader congratulates Eagle Scout
     Scoutmaster Jeff Bloom (r) is proud of Dallas Jackson who is the newest Eagle Scout in Troop 397 at Asbury United Methodist Church. Dallas passed his Eagle Board of Review in April. His Court of Honor was held at Calvary Baptist church August 26, 2006. Dallas is the son of Donnie and Teresa Jackson.

Where was the first Mrs. Sloan's Dancing School?
     I have enjoyed the articles on Mrs. Sloan's Dancing School. I, too, attended the school. Being a shy boy, I dreaded going at first, but my mother made me go. I always enjoyed it once I got there. Later on I did not have to be forced to go.
