Seven Stages of Man premieres at RCPL
By Actors' Theatre of South Carolina

"It's always fun to find actors with real star quality," says Chris Weatherhead, Actors' Theatre of South Carolina co-founder and acting coach for 30 years. "Miles Pittman is in that category. He is on the rise. Catch him before he leaves for New York or LA, in his one-man tour de force, Seven Ages of Man. He will amaze you." It premieres Sunday, October 1 at 3pm in the Bostick Auditorium of the Richland County Public Library.

Saints and sinners of Shakespeare are the theme of this fast-paced meeting of many men. The audience will meet ten of The Bard's most fascinating men, including Richard III, Hotspur, Macbeth, Romeo, Mercutio, Hamlet and the philosopher, Jacquies.

"This show is great for those who want a delicious bite of brilliant writing and acting to savor. Lovers of Shakespeare and students will find these characters a fabulous introduction to some of the most amazing men he created," says director and co-founder, Clarence Felder. Felder, a Broadway, film and television star has portrayed nearly every major Shakespearean character at numerous festivals around the U.S. and Canada. Pittman studied acting and Shakespeare at The London Drama School.

Miles Pittman recently portrayed revolutionary war militiaman, Frederick Felder, in For Liberty an independent movie project of Moving Images Group, produced by Felder and wife, Chris Weatherhead, which was shot all over South Carolina.

He has also been acting full time in Charleston as Theo Boone for Theatre 99's production of Life In the South at Boone Hall Plantation. Prior to that he played Lysander in Actors' Theatre of South Carolina's, A Midsummer Night's Folly also directed by Clarence Felder.
