History lovers market

Vendors and dealers are being sought for the History Lovers' Market, an initiative of the S.C. Archives and History Foundation. The first-time event will be held November 11, 9:30 am -3:30 pm at the state's History Center, 8301 Parklane Road.

Proprietors of myriad history-related items from vintage bottles, coins and paper currency; uniforms, insignias, tokens and military memorabilia; to stamps, post cards, firing weapons and knives; as well as rare books, pottery and small antiques will be featured.

Contemporary authors of history-related books will be autographing their titles. The event, set for Veterans' Day, will also be a tribute to veterans of all American wars.

Cost for a table includes a pre-event display listing in the Foundation's history newspaper and a welcome reception following the Friday afternoon set-up.
