Report from Dreher Class of 1961 officers

Out of 428 original class members, we still have accurate addresses on approximately 300. About 130 people attended the reunion. The Dreher Class of 1961 has many professional people such as doctors, lawyers, and judges including S.C. Supreme Court Justice Jean Toal. Many members who could not attend, sent emails and letters. Dr. Mayer Gruber, professor and chair, Department of Bible, Archaeology and Ancient Near East, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, sent one from the farthest away. The class member coming the farthest distance was Marylene Falck who lives in Zurich, Switzerland. She was an exchange student in the Class of 61, and she has come for other reunions and has maintained close contact with many class members. She remembers her senior year at Dreher as the most exciting in her life.
