     St. John Neumann Catholic School in Northeast Columbia educated students on the dangers of drug use in "blooming fashion." The Red Ribbon Week theme was "Plant the Promise" and students planted red tulips throughout the day October 26, 2006.

     Just a bit past Halloween...something spooky: it's a brain! I showed this picture to someone who remarked that it might be MY brain...and that, after all, a botanist's brain should be green.That may be true, but I was sort of hoping my brain might be a couple of sizes larger than this thing.
