58th Annual Bazaar of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral to be Nov. 11

The 58th Annual Bazaar of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral will be Sat., Nov. 11, 10 am-3 pm, Trinity block, 1100 Sumter Street. The bazaar offers a barbecue lunch, a sidewalk art exhibit, concerts, tours, entertainment, bookstore gifts, and a children's carnival with train and pony rides.
New this year will be a basketball tournament for 10-12 year olds in the Cathedral's gymnasium in its new Mission and Ministry Center. It will be a 2 on 2 tournament which will begin at noon with the final game at 2 pm. Registration will be until 10:30 am in the gym. Tennis shoes must be worn in the gym. There will be horse, knockout, and play in free throw and timed shot competitions for ages 6-12.
The bazaar will have the following booths: Art for Trinity (by Trinity artists), the famous Bargain Basement (good, used clothes from 25¢ to $5); Bargain Basement Accessories, Gift Baskets, books, breads and baked goods, Christmas booth, new and gently used clothes, frozen foods, gourmet corner gifts, needlework, pickle pantry, plants, great outdoors, toy shop, and the famous Trinkets and Treasures (everything from baby strollers to antiques).
All net proceeds go back into the community for outreach.
