Miss Ellison and Mr. Hardin plan to marry April, 2007

Mr. and Mrs. J. Hagood Ellison Jr. announce the engagement of their daughter, Eleanor Van Benthuysen Ellison, to Harry Simms Hardin IV. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Marshall Kibler and Mr. James Hagood Ellison and the late Mrs. Ellison. She graduated from Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where she received a BA in history. She is employed with Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Simms Hardin III of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Lutz of Mobile, Alabama, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Simms Harden Jr. of New Orleans. He graduated from Isidore Newman School in New Orleans and Washington and Lee University with a BS in biology. He is a third year medical student at Louisana State University Medical School. The wedding will take place April, 2007.
