Class 4A Division I

Dutch Fork (9-3) @

Summerville (12-0)

No. 1 seed and undefeated Summerville got a bit of a scare in the first round when it trailed Fort Mill 21-14 at the end of the first half, but went on to win 38-21. The Silver Foxes are averaging 264.6 yards rushing per game paced by Rashad Counts' total 1,761 yards. The defense is yielding a stingy 271.5 yards and 13.1 points per game.

Rock Hill (6-6) @

Irmo (10-2)

The #13 seeded Rock Hill Bearcats were out gained 333 yards to 135 in their opening round match-up against the Spring Valley Vikings, but managed to pull out a 14-7 victory at Harry Parone Stadium. Viking running back Lyndon Ingram rushed for 150 yards. The Bearcats will get more of the same from Mario Carter and the #5 seeded Irmo Yellow Jackets. Carter has rushed for 1,671 yards and 29 touchdowns this year.

Class 4A Division II

Ridge View (10-2) @

Greenwood (10-2)

The Greenwood Eagles have lost two games by a total of five points. Other than that, they're beating opponents by an average score of 31-6. The Blazers are averaging over 400 yards and nearly 29 points per game. Quarterback Cheston Hickman has passed for 2,967 yards and 32 touchdowns.

Class 3A Upper State

Greer (11-1) @

Blythewood (11-1)

The Blythewood Bengals have not lost since August 25 when 4A Ridge View knocked them off 21-13. Since then they are beating opponents by an average score of 36-14. The Bengals racked up 84 points and two state records in their opening playoff game, and survived against Lugoff-Elgin in the second round. The Greer Yellow Jackets are 11-1 losing only to 4A SC and national powerhouse Byrnes. They beat Dreher 35-20 in the first round.

Class 2A Upper State

Batesburg-Leesville (9-3)

@ Columbia (10-2)

This is the classic offense versus defense game. In their nine wins, the B-L Panthers have scored an average of 33.6 points per game. Conversely the Capitals have allowed an average of 6.6 points per game in their ten wins.
