Eunice and Ben Rusche were among members of Columbia Council for Internationals who supported international fair trade recently by shopping at Ten Thousand Villages, a shop off Forest Drive. CCFI is a non-profit organization of volunteers who makes international students feel welcome in Columbia. Ten Thousand Villages provides vital, fair income to Third World people by telling their stories in North America and marketing their handicrafts, like holiday ornaments, baskets, home furnishings, jewelry, and musical instruments. Managers of the Forest Drive store arranged for CCFI to have a special promotional afternoon during which the organization's members could shop the globe.
