Jessica Kirkland, a freshman nursing major from Columbia, danced her way to both the Miss Lander title and the talent award during the fall pageant sponsored by the Lander University chapter of Music Educators National Conference. Kirkland is the daughter of Laura and Hank Kirkland, She was sponsored by the Lander Dance Company.
