Killian Elementary crowns king and queen

Killian Elementary School held its annual Winter Holiday program December 7. One of the highlights of the evening was the crowning of the first Winter Holiday King and Queen. The fifth grade winners were Darryl Martin, Mr. Killian and Diamond Bell, Miss Killian. All fifth grade students were asked to choose a boy and girl to represent their respective class in this event. The representatives were then sponsored through various fundraising activities. The “crowns” were presented to the student representatives whose class earned the most sponsors. The Killian Elementary Foundation Scholarship Fund is one recipient that will benefit from the annual Winter Holiday event. The scholarships are open to former Killian Elementary graduates who have completed high school in Richland District Two.
