Miss Brown and Mr. Horton plan a 2007 spring wedding at Fripp Island

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Len Brown of Alcolu, South Carolina, announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie A. Brown of Columbia and Christian Scott Horton of Charleston, South Carolina.

The bride–elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Scott Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Reese Wilson Jr., all of Alcolu. The bride–elect earned a BSN from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a registered nurse at Lexington Medical Center. She is presently pursuing a masters in nursing administration from MUSC.

The bridegroom–elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Darrall Horton of Elgin, South Carolina. He is the grandson of the alte Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Horton and Mrs. Rue Y. Helms and the late Chaster Theron Helms. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a civil engineering degree. He is a a structural engineer at Berenyi’s Incorporated, Daniel Island.

A small wedding is planned for early morning, May 5, 2007, at Fripp Island, South Carolina.
