Many high school athletes nationwide signed letters of intent to play college football Wednesday February 7. Here's a look at where some of our local stars intend to play next season according to their high school coaches:

Blythewood: Corey Hawkins , Coastal Carolina; Jah'King James , Benedict College; Labranzo Rish , Saint Augustine's College; Charles White, Georgia.

Columbia High: Jobie Dowling , Hampton University; Khiry Mullins , Elon University; Dantonio Johnson , The Citadel (probably); Craig Boykin is deciding on an academic scholarship and will play football; D'Andre Herring turned down some Div II full rides and will walk on somewhere.

Dreher: Nick Bethea , Dodge City CC; Jarrod Goodwin, Virginia Union.

Dutch Fork: Steven St. John , Maryland; Aaron Provence , Presbyterian College; Shawn Jones, Georgia Military.

Keenan: Roosevelt Corbett , Livingstone College; Demetrius Pearson , Virginia Union; Dominique Trapp , Virginia Union; Joshua Reese, Concord; Derrick Brown, Concord.

Hammond: Carter Scott, Dartmouth College.

Richland Northeast: Mark Barnes , South Carolina; Gary Gray , Notre Dame; Tye Wright , Coffeyville Junior College; Jeff Antolik, Coastal Carolina.
