Miss Kerrigan and Mr. Scott plan August, 2007 wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gordon Kerrigan of Pensacola, Florida announce the engagement of their daughter, Darby Rose Kerrigan, to Robert Marion Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Charles Scott of Columbia.
The bride- elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wedge Kerrigan of Milford, Michigan, and Mrs. Lenore Martin Stewart of Parrish, Florida, and the late Mr. Cullie Bascomb Steward Jr. She graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall and the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Spanish. Darby will graduate from the Florida State University College of Law in May. She has accepted a two- year clerkship with the Honorable Robert T. Benton of the First District of Appeals in Tallahassee, Florida, beginning in August.
The bridegroom- elect is the grandson of Mrs. Delia Perkins Whaley and the late Mr. Marion Leonard Whaley of Columbia, and Dr. Louise Tinsley Scott of Florence, South Carolina, and the late Mr. Robert Claude Scott Jr. He graduated from Hammond School and Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and business. Robert is currently in his second year at Florida State University College of Law. He has accepted a summer clerkship in the Office of the South Carolina Attorney General, the Honorable Henry D. McMaster.
The wedding is planned for August 4, 2007, at Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
