We need your help
Contributed by Project Pet

Project Pet is a private, non- profit charitable organization partnered with local municipal shelters. They rely solely on individual and corporate donations made to them to support the annual operations. They believe that the euthanasia of healthy and treatable, adoptable animals in our community is deeply irresponsible given we have the knowledge, tools, and resources to control our animal population properly.

Project Pet is beginning a campaign to build a 24,000 square foot building to meet the growing needs of the Midlands community and the animals that share our lives. Through a generous donation from Lexington County, a 7.5 acre parcel of land has been donated to Project Pet for a new Adoption and Outreach Center that will be located on Bower Parkway. The new building will be functional, designed to withstand the rigors of housing thousands of animals a year. It will provide for a minimum of 200 animals at a time tripling Project Pet's annual adoption capacity. The clinic can facilitate four full- time veterinarians who have the ability to alter 30,240 animals per year.

Upon completion of the Adoption and outreach center, Project Pet will be the only organization in S.C. eligible for a large operating grant through Maddie's Fund, a non- profit endowment. Project Pet will be eligible to receive $4.3 million over a seven year period.

Please join in this campaign by sending donations to Project Pet, P. O. Box 1777, Columbia, SC 29202 or call 803-407-0991. www.projectpet.com
