A.C. Flora boasts five National Merit Finalists

A.C. Flora High School has five 2007 National Merit Finalist students. They are Josie Bailey, daughter of Stan and Terri Bailey; Amy Betenbaugh, daughter of Tommy and Mary Ann Betenbaugh; Sydney Kornegay, daughter of Van and Patty Kornegay; Jim Manning, son of Jim and Sandra Manning; Lauren McFadden, daughter of Earl and Mary McFadden. In addition to maintaining extremely full extra- curricular schedules, all of these students are enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Flora.
