Giant garage sale to help animal sanctuary
A giant garage sale will be held April 7, 8 am- 2 pm in Parkland Plaza on Knox Abbot Drive in Cayce to raise money for The Cotton Branch Farm Animal Sanctuary. Donations will be accepted at the site March 17, 24, and 31 from 9 am- 2 pm and March 21 and April 4 from 6 pm- 8 pm. Volunteers are needed. Call 736-2176. Cotton Branch Farm Animal Sanctuary (www.cottonbranch.org) opened in the Leesville area in 2004 for animals that were falling through the cracks. The farm is now full with a feeding bill of over $800 a month. Cotton Branch relies on the financial support of animal lovers. It receives no federal or state funds. All donations go directly to the care of animals. Support for this fundraiser will help provide a refuge for abused and neglected farm animals that have nowhere else to go.
