NAI Avant's commercial Realtors received 21 awards at the Association's 35th Circle of Excellence Awards luncheon. Receiving Gold Level Awards were Tom Milliken, Ben Kelly, Paul Hartley, Ken Butler, James Harrison, Buddy John, Cam Kreps, Gerald Steele, John Hamilton, Jeff Hein, and Bruce Harper.

Bronze Level Awards were given to Woody Sharpe, Bobby Hathaway, Mike Johnson, Claud Sapp, and Laura Kovacich.

Emily I. Perkins has joined the Greenville office of Nexsen Pruet as an associate and will concentrate her practice on business litigation.

The Greater University of S.C. Alumni Association has elected nine new representatives to its Board of Governors. Serving three- year terms will be Linda P. McConnell, Julian J. Nexsen Jr., Ruth L. Cate, Tracy T. Hardaway, Marie- Louise Ramsdale, Dr. Charles P. Stroup, Kela E. Thomas, Fred L. Green III, and Charles E. Bradshaw.

Philip Lader , a partner in Nelson, Mullins, Riley, & Scarborough, has been reappointed to the board of Lloyd's of London, the global insurance market that has underwritten individual and corporate risks for more than 300 years.
