      The Cultural Council of Richland and Lexington Counties held a fundraiser, Color the Arts , at Paul D. Sloan Interiors March 30, 2007. The premiere artist was Toni Elkins whose painting was bought by Jack Swerling for $4,000.

      In the photograph with the article "Poets bring laughter and tears to Cardinal Newman audience" in the March 30, 2007, the man was incorrectly identified. The person identified as Leo Victor Briones was actually Richard Eib.
