Harry M. Lightsey Jr., Former USC Law School alumni, professor, and dean, (1931- 2006) is being honored as the first inductee into the Lightsey Society for his contributions to higher education. The Lightsey Society will recognize a new inductee each year through the S.C. Higher Education Hall of Fame. The criteria for induction are achievement, ethics, leadership, passion, and reputation.
