Scholarship Winners Recital
presented by The Afternoon, Eau Claire and Morning Music Clubs

Music students who received scholarships performed April 15, 2007. Eleanor Avant, president of the Eau Claire Music Club welcomed guests. The scholarship awards were given by Margaret Beth Williamson, president of the Afternoon Music Club and Helena Meetze, auditions chairman. The judges were Dr. Randolph Love, Dr. Elisa Moskovitch, Ms. Thelma Rast, and Dr. Helen Tintes. Scholarship winners performing in the recital were (l- r) Ashley Briggs, Club College Voice, student of Dr. Tina Stallard, accompanied by Aimee Sincher; Chun Wei Fang, Club College Piano, student of Dr. Marina Lomazov; Shannon Rickman, Club College Orchestral and Band- Flute, student of Donna Shin, accompanied by Ira Thomas; Powers Burnette, Club Intermediate Piano, student of Dr. Ann B. Wilson; Kaileen Yeh, Club Senior Strings- Cello, student of Dr. Robert Jesselson; Rebecca King, Club Senior Piano, student of David Edwards; Kara Glott, Club Senior Piano, student of Helena Meetze; Hannah Strickland, Club Grade 12 Voice, student of Jane Nevitt, accompanied by Jane Nevitt; Amy Hamilton, Club Senior Piano, student of Carol Rhodes; and Sarah Morales, Club Intermediate Piano, student of Robyn Gibson.
