Miss Legaré and Mr.York exchange vows in Trinity Episcopal Cathedral

The marriage of Sarah Elizabeth Legaré to Andrew Dean York took place Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 7 pm. The Reverend Robert G. Riegel officiated and music was provided by Organist Doak J. Wolfe and Trinity Cathedral Choir.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Couturier Robertson Legaré Jr. and the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Fred Howell Medlin and the late Mr. Medlin and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Couturier Robertson Legaré Sr. The bride is a graduate of Dreher High School. She received a B.S. in biology from Converse College and is employeed by Virotec Aquasolve.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dean York of Mobile, Alabama, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edward Rushan of Saraland, Alabama, and Mrs. William Selmer York and the late Mr. York of Chichasaw, Alabama. The bridegroom is a graduate of Murphy High School, Alabama School of Math and Science, Mobile, Alabama. He received a degree in electrical engineering specializing in computer engineering from Auburn University. He is employeed by Warconearth Communications.
The bride wore her sister- in- law Mrs. T. K. Legaré's dress. The gown was a floor- length, lace dress with pearl accents and a sweep train. She also wore a cathedral length tulle veil.
The matron of honor was Elizabeth Renee Kremer, Wellford, South Carolina. The bridesmaids were Carly Lynn York, the bridegroom's sister; Bronwen Elizabeth Bethea; Mrs. Michael Shawn Chavis; Mims Erin Creed; Mrs. Charles Tapley Gresham; Katherine Anne Hemby; and Laura McIntyre Isaac.
Stuart Blair Legaré, brother of the bride, served as best man. The groomsmen were Dr. Thomas Keith Legaré, the bride's brother; John Robertson Legaré, the bride's brother; Jason Bradley Bednasek; Dustin Paul Deshazo; Patrick Loring Hanks; Carey Levi Huff; and Jonathan E. Maybin.
The reception was held at The Summit Club. The couple will honeymoon in Ireland for two weeks and will reside in Summerville, South Carolina.
