Timmerman eighth grader wins Governor's Citizenship Award

Taylor Clementi with Gov. Mark Sanford

Taylor Clementi, an eighth grader at Timmerman School, has been awarded the Governor's Citizenship Award by Gov. Mark Sanford in a ceremony at the State House. Clementi is an outstanding citizen of S.C. elected by her peers to serve as president of the Timmerman Student Government Association and as head varsity cheerleader. Taylor provides service to her school at every possible opportunity, demonstrates leadership through her elected positions, and exhibits the discipline required to be successful in all endeavors. Clementi possesses impeccable character and takes full responsibility for all of her actions. The Timmerman School is proud of Clementi for being selected to receive this award.
