Miss Kibler and Mr. Brooks
marry at St. Joseph Catholic Church

Mrs. Brooks Allen Brewer
Sarah Rhett Kibler and Brooks Allen Brewer were married May 4, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Richard Harris officiated the 7 pm ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Marshall Kibler. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rhett Heyward and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Marshall Kibler. The bride is a graduate of Cardinal Newman High School. She received a BS degree in retail from the University of South Carolina and is employed as a bank officer at Carolina First Bank in Columbia.

The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Linda Brooks Brewer and Mr. Luther Allen Brewer. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Brooks and Mrs. Patsy Meade Brewer, all of Columbia, and the late Mr. Luther Gardner Brewer of Gilbert, South Carolina. He is employed with Prudential Midlands in Columbia.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The maid of honor was Anna Belle Carroll Kibler, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were McKenzie Meade Brewer, sister of the bridegroom; Eleanor Ellison Hardin and Sidney Burnette Heyward, cousins of the bride; Courtney Marie Schuster; Elizabeth Wilson deTreville; Kristen Nicole DeMars; and Natalie Louise Zimmerman.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man. The groomsmen were Heyward Haskell Kibler, brother of the bride; Edmund Heyward Hardy, cousin of the bride; Andrew Gray Howard; Cole Rexford Thompson; David Blakely Burnside Jr.; Mark Wayne King; and Paul Blake deTreville. The senior ushers were Church Carroll Heyward and Eugene Robertson Kibler, uncles of the bride.

The readers were Sarah Madison Ide, Caroline Coles Ide, and Mary Allison Heyward, cousins of the bride. The greeter was Jessica Price Brewer, sister of the bridegroom.

A bridesmaid luncheon was held May 3, 2007, at the home off Mrs. James Owens. The affair was hosted by Mrs. Owens, Mrs. Mackey Irick, and Mrs. Thomas Little.

The rehearsal party, hosted by the bridegroom's parents, was held May 4, 2007, at the Palmetto Club. The reception, hosted by the parents ofthe bride, was celebrated at Forest Lake Club.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Columbia.
