Dreher's first female football player heads to Hollywood
Four years ago, Alex Creswick was a star soccer player and Dreher's first female football player. Now, she is graduating as one of Wake Forest's top students. With a degree in communications, Creswick is one of just 15 students accepted into UCLA's prestigious Producer's Program. This two- and- a- half- year program will culminate in a full- length feature film she will produce as a master's thesis. At Wake Forest, she produced four films, which are being used for new student orientation. Last semester, she took a class with CNN correspondent Jim Bitterman in Paris, France. Her professors describe her as "very comfortable in forging her own path…sensitive to others…in the moment." Alex's parents are Dr. Richard Creswick, physics professor at USC, and Vickie Eslinger, an attorney with Nexsen Pruet.
