Team Oana supports Shepherd's Centers

Team Oana Investment Advisors, Inc. wrapped up its sponsorship of an educational seminar series at the Trenholm Road Shepherd Center May 23, 2007. Wednesday's class focused on How to Manage Retirement Income with a presentation by Michael J. Oana entitled "What if I Live?"

Afterwards, Oana presented Dorcas Giles, Shepherd Center Coordinator, with a check for $125 to go towards future programs for the center.

Michael J. Oana, chief investment officer, of Team Oana Investment Advisors, a locally owned investment firm, strongly supports the community.

"The Shepherd Center is such a great group. They provide a valuable service to the retirees in the Columbia Area. We encourage our clients to join, and we enjoy providing monetary support to such a great group," Oana said.

Team Oana is sponsoring the same workshop series in the fall at the St. Andrews Shepherd Center. The workshops will cover various topics from estate planning, tax saving strategies, and other important issues facing seniors.
