Columbia Rotary Club and Capital Rotary Club have awarded college scholarships worth $56,000 to four high school students. These outstanding scholars were chosen from among 20 students interviewed by the selection committee. The public school students were recognized by the District One School Board at their regular meeting on May 29. College scholarships from locally raised funds are made available annually by these two Rotary Clubs to public, private, and home- schooled students in the Richland County School District One area.
