Miss Dwyer and Mr. Rutledge marry in Greenville, S.C.

Jennifer Ann Dwyer and Christopher Reeves Rutledge were united in marriage at 7 pm, Saturday, June 30, 2007, at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Deacon Matt Mannino. Music was provided by Kathy Goben, organist, and John Shorter, vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Dwyer of Simpsonville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dwyer, the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Boag, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Chapman of New Jersey. The bride received a masters degree in education from the University of South Carolina. She is a first grade techer at Boulder Bluff Elementary in Goose Creek, South Carolina.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rolfe Rutledge of Blythewood, South Carolina. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Abrams and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Rutledge of Columbia. He received a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from the University of South Carolina. He is an electrical engineer with Berkeley Electric Co- Op in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a taffeta, full A- line, corset back gown with a surplus bodice with gentle sweetheart neckline. The lowered waistline was sprinkled with crystal embellishments. The caught up skirt was accent- ed with diamond shaped embellishments. A matching finger tip length veil complemented the gown. The bride carried a bouquet of white and pink Casablanca lilies with stephanotis and greenery.
Heather Martin of Atlanta, Georgia, served as the maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Krissy Ruffley of Spotswood, New Jersey, cousin of the bride. Sheena Abrams of Simpsonville; Casey Atlman of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; Kimberly Carlee of Greenville, South Carolina; Heather Cooper of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Megan Ingle of Greenville.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. The groomsmen were Sterling Rutledge of Blythewood, brother of the bridegroom; Christopher Dwyer of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, brother of the bride; Jacob Born, David Johnson, and Philip Simoneaux of Columbia; and Zachary Snider of Fort Worth, Texas.
A reception followed at the Hilton in Greenville. After
a wedding trip to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, the couple will reside in Goose
Creek.
