Pathfinders draw fourth seed at State Championship

The Richland Post 6 Pathfinders are headed to the double elimination S.C. American Legion State Championship Tournament in Rock Hill August 2- 6. They earned the trip by defeating Union and Greenwood in the Upper State portion of the state bracket.

The Pathfinders will face Georgetown on the opening day of the tournament. Georgetown got to the finals by sweeping Manning in the first round and surviving a five- game series against Orangeburg.

In the next round the Pathfinders will either face number one seed and tournament host Rock Hill or number eight seed Lancaster.

Number two seed Sumter is the defending champion.

Lexington and Irmo- Chapin were each eliminated in five games in the first round.
