Miss Corley and Mr. Desaulniers marry in Charleston, April 21

Mr. and Mrs.David Eugene Desaulniers
Margaret Dalton Corley of San Francisco, California, and David Eugene Desaulniers, also of San Francisco, were married on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. The Rev. Robert Stratton Lawrence performed the 6 pm ceremony.

Mrs. Desaulniers is the daughter of Dr. & Mrs. Charles Edward Corley III of Charleston. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Warren Simmons Sr. of Charleston and the late Mr. & Mrs. Charles Edward Corley Jr. of Lexington, South Carolina. Mrs. Desaulniers graduated from Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia and earned a BA in French from Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia. She spent a year on Hollins Abroad in Paris and is director of National Accounts for TBA Global Events in San Francisco.

Mr. Desaulniers is the son of Mr. George Edward Desaulniers II and the late Mrs. Desaulniers. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Frederick Edward Desaulniers of Boston, Massachusetts, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wells of Maine. Mr. Desaulniers graduated from Monument Mountain High School, in Great Barrington, Masschusetts, earned a degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Massachusetts and a masters in metallurgy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He is a senior engineer and sales manager for Lufthansa Airlines. Mrs. James Kristian Falk and Mrs. D'Arcy Kenneth Doyle, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor. Flower girls were Corley McCrea Doyle and Margaret Dalton Doyle, nieces of the bride.

Scott Wright Sawyer served as best man. The groomsmen were Thomas Joseph Desaulniers, brother of the bridegroom, and Charles Edward Corley IV, brother of the bride. The ring bearers were Richard Clay Corley and Carter Morgan Shepherd Falk, nephews of the bride. The ushers were George Edward Simmons Falk and Perry McCants Castleman Falk, nephews of the bride.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents on Sullivan's Island.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Belize and Guatemala. They reside in San Francisco.
