Upstate business blazes trail with new bike- hauling concept
Contributed by Ego Trip Trailers

Ego Trip Trailers offers a new and protective way for transporting expensive motorcycles.
A new Upstate business is taking orders for its newly- created and innovative clear- sided motorcycle trailers that allow owners to display their bikes while protecting them from road debris and the elements.

Ego Trip Trailers was founded earlier this year by Greenville entrepreneurs Nathan Vance and Bobby Leconey.

Vance and Leconey, motorcycle enthusiasts who show and race, came up with the idea as they traveled from different locals.

Prior to Ego Trip's trailers, if an owner wished to protect a bike while putting it on display, custom- made trailers were the only option.

"We wanted enthusiasts to have easy access and purchasing of a display trailer so they wouldn't have to spend their time and money creating a customized trailer," said Vance.

The trailers are not all about practicality, however. Leconey knows how much he and other motorcycle owners relish showing off their "toys."

Leconey says the time, money, and energy that owners invest makes the bikes unique and worthy of public display. "Why cover up your work of art!" summarizes the ego trip philosophy.

Through the years, Leconey and Vance's passion for cars and motorcycles has never dwindled.

The idea for this new venture came from years of experience riding, racing, and showing motorcycles as a hobby.

"I knew this was one idea that I couldn't walk away from," Vance said. "I don't look at it as showing off. I want people to see that I am unique and I am passionate about my hobby."

Founded in 2007 by Nathan Vance and Bobby Leconey, Ego Trip Trailers offers numerous standard features as well as numerous options.

Ego Trip Trailers caters to motorcycle owners who need to protect bikes for showing and hauling but appreciate the ability to display their work to others.
