Ben Lippen participates in extreme makeover project for international students
Contributed by Ben Lippen School

In today's world, as diplomacy and cross- communication become increasingly important, students at Ben Lippen School have a unique multi- cultural opportunity to mingle with international students from countries such as China, Taiwan, and Korea.

On the weekend of September 14, the homes of these international students will experience an Extreme Home Makeover. With the Resident homes due for renovations, local businesses, and individual donors are joining forces with Ben Lippen students, faculty, staff, and families to help these makeovers become a reality.

The makeovers will focus on the living/dining room areas of each home (six homes house the 70 international students) and will take place in one weekend.

This is a community- wide event, and donations of time, money, supplies, and expertise are needed as furniture is moved, repairs are made, homes are painted, and rooms are decorated. Businesses and individual donors who assist with the project will be mentioned in all promotional materials leading up to the event and will have their names displayed on a plaque placed in each house.
