Pure Joy by Anne Hightower- Patterson, former principal of Crayton Middle School

The South Carolina Watermedia Society's 30th Annual Awards Exhibition is on display at the Spartanburg Art Museum, 200 East St. John St., Spartanburg, SC through November 5. The top 30 paintings received $ 9,500 in awards and will tour the state for a year. Award winners from the Midlands include $500 to Marcia PMicutrurariyn ogf H iCsthoarpyin for , $200 to Anne Hightower- Patterson of Columbia for Pure Joy, $200 to Roy Paschal of W. Columbia for Bubba Blue, and $200 to Erica Hoyt of Columbia for Monhegan
