Consulting firms interested in being considered for one, all or any combination of the projects listed should respond with five (5) copies of a letter of interest, current resumes of qualifications and any other pertinent information. Forms SF 254 and 255 are preferred, but not required. Qualifications should be prepared simply and economically, providing a straight forward, concise description of the firm's capabilities to satisfy the requirements of this Request For Qualifications (RFQ). Submittals for any one project type may not contain more than thirty (30) pages. Pages with information on both the front and the back will count as two pages. Submittals for more than one project type (waterline, elevated tank, and booster pump station) may contain an additional five (5) pages for each additional project type up to a maximum of forty (40) pages for all three project types. Submittals should be clearly marked and organized in such a manner that it is readily evident what information in the submittal applies to which project type. All submittals are to be received by Ms. Dee A. Bennett, Engineering Operations Manager, City of Columbia, Post Office Box 147, Columbia, SC 29217, or 1225 Laurel Street, Room 200, Columbia, SC 29201 by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at which time they will be opened publicly in the City's 1225 Laurel Street Second Floor Conference Room (Room 218). The City encourages the participation of local minority and female business enterprises in the overall procurement process of the City. All firms must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
