Local finds S.C. in Belize

While on a trip to Belize earlier this year, Columbia advertising executive Kevin Fisher got a surprise while exploring the Rio Frio river cave. "We entered the cave at one end, were walking along the river in the darkness, then turned the corner and saw the opening at the other end," said Fisher. "I couldn't believe it. Nature had carved the shape of S.C. into the cave opening."

Fisher said he closed his eyes and then looked again at the natural phenomenon. "At first I wondered if some tropical spider had bitten me, and I was hallucinating," he laughed. "But it was still there when I opened my eyes so I had a picture snapped standing in front of it. Made me feel right at home."
