Petal Pushers Garden Club holds October meeting

The October meeting of the Petal Pushers Garden Club was held at the home of Betty Lewis. Bernice Folsom was co- hostess.

introduced the speaker, Elizabeth Quackenbush. Quackenkenbush is the development director of Volunteers of America for the Carolinas. She highlighted many areas of service including the Children's Garden located on the campus

of Columbia College. Betty Lewis served as chairman

of the Garden Council's exhibits for the State Fair. Bernice Folsom made one of the beautiful arrangements. Betty and Bernice also served as judges for the horticulture at the Fair.
