Zonta Clubs worldwide celebrate 88 years

On November 8, 2007, members of the Zonta Club of Columbia celebrated the 88th birthday of Zonta International. Zonta works wih The Killingsworth Home, which is a transitional home for women in crisis and LEER, a literacy project for Hispanic children. The club also sponsors scholarships for high school girls who are interested in public service and college women who ae pursuing a career in business. Zonta Clubs select, fund, and participate in local education, service, and advocacy projects that promote women's equality.
