Dancing with the Teachers

Dr.Cliff Barrineau,math teacher at Dreher High School, will dance the waltz with junior dance student Zola Collins.

Dreher High School Dance Team members will hold their second annual Dancing with the Teachers fundraiser Thursday, November 29, 2007, at 7 pm in the new Dreher auditorium, 3319 Millwood Ave. The dance competition features 10 teachers and 12 dance students paired together in an effort to raise money for an out of state dance trip. Each couple will perform a ballroom dance piece in an attempt to win the title of Dreher's Favorite Dance Duo.

Participating teachers are Stephanie Reeves, cheerleading coach; Dr. Cliff Barrineau, math teacher; John Richards, basketball coach; Bill Bacon, football coach; Mike DuBard, athletic director; Courtney Wolfe, English teacher; Miriam Goodrich, world history teacher; Roy Blakeney, vice principal; Courtney Gibson, English teacher; and Dominick Padgett, guidance counselor.
