A Chow Chow miracle after eight years

      Boris and Natasha, Chow Chows, came to SQ Rescue as young puppies. They were wandering down the road carrying their food dishes in their mouths looking for someone to feed them. The Rescue has had them for over eight years and has given them their monthly heartworm pills and flea protection.

      The popcorn tree is the Chinese tallow tree, Sapium sebiferum, an immigrant species that entered the U.S. from China in the 1700s via Andre Michaux, botanist and plant collector. Plantations in China cultivated the tree as a seed crop and ornamental for about 14 centuries.
