Students, it's time for IndiReels Festival

The second annual IndieReels Festival for High School Filmmakers will be March 14- 16, 2008. Presented by Richland Northeast High School, IndieReels will feature student works in six categories: documentary, comedy, drama, animation/new media, Pod cast, and public service announcement.

There will be workshops and special screenings and screening of the finalists in each category. Winners will be screened as part of the Nickelodeon Theatre's Indie Grits Film Competition later in the month.

Student filmmakers in grades ninth through 12 residing in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia are invited to enter.
