Michael T. Lowman was named Builder Member of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia. Brad Beverly joined NAI Avant's brokerage services group as a commercial real estate broker. Dr. Alma Byrd, Mayor Bob Coble, the late Charlie Dickerson, and Sen. Kay Patterson will be inducted into the Richland One Hall of Fame. Ryan Kelly received honorable mention in the Travel Scholarship Essay Contest for teens. Jeffrey Roberts, operator of a Kirby distributorship in West Columbia, won a trip to Taormina, Sicily, from the Kirby Company. Jimmie Stewart, G & P Trucking, was the September Driver of the Month for the South Carolina Trucking Association and Larry Nichols, Con- Way Freight, was the October Driver of the Month. William Wilson joined Grubb & Ellis Wilson Kibler in the Research Client Services Division.
