After saving their nickels, dimes, and quarters for weeks, students in the after- school program at Logan Elementary pooled their money to throw a Christmas party for residents of the Wardlaw Senior Citizens Apartment Building December 12, 2007.

The students adopted residents of the senior citizens home and spent the afternoon with them singing Christmas carols and enjoying party treats. The students used the money they saved to buy gifts for the residents. The Logan after- school program is a joint project of Richland One and the Richland County Recreation Commission.
