LifeTrail stations arrive at Lowman Campus
Contributed by Lowman Home

Administrator David Lever was part of a group of Lowman staff and residents who teamed up to install a new LifeTrail System along the existing walking path surrounding the pond on Lowman Home's campus. Dr. Tom Brown, CEO of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina also participated in assembling the stations.

The LifeTrail system adds a new dimension to Lowman's exercise program. Comprised of a series of 10 outdoor wellness stations, LifeTrail provides strengthening, flexibility, and balance activities to promote a well- rounded fitness program.

Director of Independent Programming Mary Bendziweicz will implement wellness programs, including a walking club, that includes the LifeTrail stations.

The installation of the LifeTrail system is a result of more than three years of research, planning, and development. The purchase of the stations was made possible through a grant from BeWell, a Lutheran Homes of South Carolina wellness initiative, individual donors and fundraising by DaySpring residents.
