Move New Orleans to Vista Farms
Letter to the editor
Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu (D) is presently asking the Congress for $250 billion to rebuild New Orleans, a city below sea level that will soon be flooded again. I recommend tax money be allocated in one of the following ways:

1. Divide it among the 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, child), so each would receive $516,528.

2. Or, divide it among the 188,251 homeowners in New Orleans, so each would get $1,329,787.

3. Or, divide it among the 121,168 families, so each would get $2,066,012.

4. Or better yet, it could be used to move the entire population of New Orleans to Cayce's Vista Farms (formerly Green Diamond) since they are used to flooding.
