Rebecca's Columbia Backyard

My backyard is small, but you would never guess it! Every square inch is my own personal paradise. The leaves fall from my backyard ceiling and crunch beneath my feet. Crackle! The trees stay still like the chairs on a wooden floor. Prick, prick! Ouch! I have a million pinecones on my outdoor backyard floor.

I love it when the wind blows the long branches of my trees together, both tall and low. There are sticks everywhere! I use the sticks to build small and large forts. In my backyard I love going to the Village Green with my friend, laying and looking at the big, soft, gray clouds. I also love eating homemade orange popsicles, listening to the music of busy bees flying around, and playing board games with my Mom. What a great place to call my backyard!
