Palmetto Center for the Arts featured in Charleston
The Martin Gallery of 18 Broad Street will host "Optic Conversation." Award- winning artists from the Palmetto Center for the Arts in Columbia will be featured in the gallery, February 9- February 16. Various mediums and themes will be shown including pieces by recent "Gold Key" artist Eliani Camarena.
Camerena's portfolio received this distinguished S.C. honor at Lander University. This is the highest honor a graduating senior in high school can receive. Other highlights are Omar Oliphant's works who received the Gold Key distinction in digital art and Silver Key recipient Lyla
Shlon for her painting, Ugly
Birds. There will be twenty works featured.

Palmetto Center for the Arts is the arts magnet for Richland District Two and is housed on the campus of Richland Northeast High School in Columbia, SC.
